Foxboro Station Permanent Weekday Commuter Rail Service

Foxboro service includes:

  • Ten weekday round trips between Foxboro and Boston
  • Parking at Foxboro Station
  • Zone 4 fares

Schedule

Beginning this Monday, August 11, the MBTA and Keolis will adjust schedules for Foxboro Station commuter rail trains between the hours of 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM.

These midday outbound trains to Foxboro will be removed from the schedule. Passengers can utilize Franklin Line service for all stops to Walpole and connect with a shuttle bus at Walpole for service to Foxboro.

  • 1725 (9:37 AM arrival)
  • 1731 (11:29 AM arrival)
  • 1739 (1:19 AM arrival) 

 

These midday inbound trains from Foxboro will be removed from the schedule. Passengers can utilize Franklin Line service for all stops to South Station and connect with a shuttle bus at Foxboro to connect with train service at Walpole.

  • 1732 (10:36 AM departure)
  • 1740 (12:31 PM departure)
  • 1748 (2:09 PM departure)

 

Foxboro Station trains outside of this window will be unaffected and continue to operate as usual. Special event trains for concerts and Patriots games at Gillette Stadium will also continue to operate as scheduled.

This schedule adjustment is in place to allow Amtrak to continue to make emergency repairs on a downed signal wire and to begin construction of a permanent, accessible platform at Foxboro Station. Keolis and the MBTA will continue to adjust service as Amtrak makes progress on repairs, with the goal of returning to normal Commuter Rail service for passengers as soon as possible.
