Visit the tallest “lighthouse” in America

The Gillette Stadium Lighthouse was reimagined as part of our north end zone expansion project, bringing an iconic experiential feature to the stadium that fans of all ages can experience and enjoy. The top of the structure stands 22 stories above the playing field and is the tallest “lighthouse” in the United States! The 360-degree observation deck, known as the Lookout, provides spectacular panoramic views of the stadium and the surrounding area, including the Boston and Providence skylines. Admission is $5 for adults and children 10 and under are FREE (see below for admission details).

HOURS OF OPERATION*

Tickets may be purchased in person inside the lobby of the Lighthouse. Tickets may only be purchased on the day of your visit, no advance sales are permitted.

Sunday – Thursday: 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Friday & Saturday: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM

*Hours of operation are subject to change and the lighthouse may be closed for ticketed or private events. Check calendar below before your visit! 

CHECK BEFORE YOU VISIT!

The Lighthouse may be closed during our normal posted hours due to events at the stadium. We strongly recommend that you check calendar below before you visit to be sure the Lighthouse is open when you plan to visit. 

VISITOR INFORMATION

Admission is $5 for adults.

Admission is FREE for children ages 10 and under, active military, veterans, first responders, and Patriots & Revolution Season Ticket Members.

Net proceeds will be donated to a charitable fund. 

The Lighthouse will be closed to the public on the following dates in 2023:

October 4 – Closed to the public for Revolution Game

October 8 – Closed to the public for Patriots Game

October 18 – Closed for the day for a private event

October 19 – Closed for the day for a private event

October 21 – Closed to the public for Revolution game

November 5 – Closed to the public for Patriots game

December 3 – Closed to the public for Patriots game

December 9 – Closed to the public for Army-Navy game

December 18 – Closed to the public for Patriots game

Guests of the Gillette Stadium Lighthouse Experience will have the opportunity to secure unique professional photos from two different angles.

  1. Grab your friends and family and smile as your picture is taken from the Lookout (the observation deck) with the Gillette Stadium field in the background. 
  2. Share the photo of you or your group that’s taken from an elevated platform that shows you posing at the top of the Lighthouse. And the image will be turned into an animated GIF to share across all your social platforms. YOU CAN’T GET THIS PHOTO ANY OTHER WAY. 

This special photo experience is included with entry and guests will receive their photos via email. Visitor photos will also be incorporated into a special mosaic image of the Gillette Stadium Lighthouse and displayed on televisions within the Lighthouse and on GilletteStadium.com.

100% of all net proceeds will be donated to a charitable fund that will be earmarked for New England charities.

Are you looking for a one of a kind venue to host an intimate event? 

The interior, top-level Lantern Room, as well as the Lookout observation deck, may be booked as a function space.

Yes, the Lighthouse is open to the public. Restrictions may be in place on days in which Gillette Stadium is hosting events.

Yes, the Lighthouse will be open twelve months a year. Hours of operation may vary by day and during certain times of the year. Hours of operation are listed on the homepage. 

Guests can take an elevator to the top to access the observation deck, known as the Lookout.

Yes, the Lighthouse may not always be open during the “normal hours of operation” when there are certain events scheduled in the stadium, or the GP Atrium, including many ticketed stadium events including Patriots and Revolution games, concerts, etc.

The Lighthouse is not open to the public during most ticketed events, including Patriots games, Revolution matches, concerts and other large events. Depending on when a stadium event starts, the Lighthouse may be open to the public for hours in morning leading up to when an event begins.

Yes! The Lighthouse is powered by programmable LED lights. The Lantern at the top of the Lighthouse can be programmed to change colors and to show movement.  The exterior of the Lighthouse on the plaza facing side also has lights that are affixed to the trellis and can change colors.  

The Gillette Stadium Lighthouse is 218 feet tall and stands over 22 stories above the playing field.

The Lighthouse is the tallest non-traditional lighthouse in the country.
