The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) powered by Ticketmaster announced today that Gillette Stadium will host the league’s opening round of the playoffs on Sept. 3. After the PLL previously announced Gillette Stadium as the host of the 2022 All-Star Game and Skills Challenge, the home of the New England Patriots and Revolution will now also host three single-elimination quarterfinals matchups as teams battle for their shot at the 2022 crown.
Seven teams qualify for the PLL postseason and are seeded based on record, with the top overall seed receiving a bye straight to the semifinals. The quarterfinals will feature the two-seed taking on the seven-seed, the three-seed matched up against the six-seed, and the four-seed going head-to-head with the five-seed. The quarterfinal action gets underway at Gillette Stadium with a 12 p.m. matchup on Saturday afternoon, followed by games at 2:30 p.m. and 5:10 p.m. The final matchups and schedule will be determined following the conclusion of the regular season.
The PLL is a tour-based model featuring eight teams and the world’s best lacrosse players. In addition to being full-time employees and receiving health benefits, players get equity stakes in the league – a first in professional sports. - Gillette Stadium parking lots will open at 10:00 AM. Consistent with the PLL All-Star Game in July, ALL fans will park on the WEST Side (except suites) in Lots 22, 20, 16, 14 and 10. Tailgating is allowed for this event.
- The parking fee is included in the ticket price. There will be no charge to park upon arrival to Gillette Stadium owned parking lots. Different from past PLL events at Gillette Stadium, ALL fans will park on the WEST side (Lots 22, 20) and enter at the CVS Health Gate. Fans are encouraged to review the parking map before arriving at the stadium.

Per the guidance from the CDC and State of Massachusetts, face coverings will NOT be mandatory for guests at Gillette Stadium. However, it is recommended that you wear a face covering if you are not yet fully vaccinated. In addition, for your comfort and safety, we have added hand sanitizing stations throughout the entire stadium. We have also installed touchless toilets and sinks in all restrooms. At Gillette Stadium, we have enhanced screening procedures that are new for 2022. We have implemented EVOLV Express Systems: a weapons detection technology that provides faster and more convenient security screening that does not require fans to stop at a checkpoint.
