Dead & Company’s 2019 Summer Tour will be coming to Gillette Stadium on June 22. Dead & Company is made up of former Grateful Dead members Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann and Bob Weir, in addition to John Mayer, Oteil Burbridge and Jeff Chimenti. As New England’s largest sports and entertainment venue, Gillette Stadium offers Dead & Company fans an experience unrivaled in the region with ample parking for tailgating, and dining and shopping amenities throughout Patriot Place.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Planning to jam along with John Mayer, Bob Weir and the members of Dead & Company next weekend at Gillette Stadium but don’t want to drive to the concert? The Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority (MBTA) has just the ticket for you.

The transit agency has announced the MBTA will be providing a special event train to the June 22nd Dead & Company concert at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.

Roundtrip train tickets are $20 and can be purchased on the MBTA’s mTicket App or at the ticket offices of the North, South and Back Bay stations.

Please note: This is a special event train and ticket sales will be stopped once the maximum capacity is reached. Additionally, a special event train ticket is required. Normal MBTA fares will not be honored on special event trains.

Riders are also reminded that any prohibited items at Gillette Stadium, including bags that do not comply with the stadium’s Clear Bag Policy (, will not be permitted on the train. As a reminder, no personal items may be left on the train during the concert.

The MBTA normally operates special event trains to Foxborough for New England Patriots home games and select special events. The transit agency will begin operating a year-long pilot program for weekday commuter rail service later to Gillette Stadium and Patriot Place this fall. For more information, visit

Dead & Company was formed in 2015 when the Grateful Dead’s Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann and Weir joined forces with Mayer, Allman Brothers’ bassist Oteil Burbridge and Fare Thee Well and RatDog keyboardist Jeff Chimenti. Dead & Company was formed in 2015 when the Grateful Dead’s Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann and Bob Weir joined forces with artist and musician John Mayer, Allman Brothers’ bassist Oteil Burbridge, and Fare Thee Well and RatDog keyboardist Jeff Chimenti.  The result was one of the most successful touring bands of the decade.  The inaugural tour kicked off in the fall of 2015 with two sold-out shows at the legendary Madison Square Garden and ending the year with two sold-out performances at the ‘Fabulous’ Forum in Inglewood, California.
