For the first time ever, Gillette Stadium will play host to the 2017 Men’s and Women’s Division 1 National Lacrosse Championships.
The four-day event features championships in Divisions I, II, and III the only NCAA Championship that involves all three men’s divions at one site. In addition to the actual lacrosse games, Gillette Stadium will be full of fan-oriented excitement including youth lacrosse clinics, interactive fan zones, and community oriented initiatives.
- Friday, May 26 – Women’s Division I Semifinals
- Saturday, May 27 – Men’s Division I Semifinals
- Sunday, May 28 – Men’s Division II & III National Championships/Women’s Division I National Championship
- Monday, May 29 – Men’s Division I National Championship
Parking is included in all ticket prices, and stadium re-entry is allowed throughout each event day.
While 2017 will mark the first time Gillette Stadium has ever hosted the Division I Women’s Lacrosse Championship, the venue has a history of tremendous success hosting the men’s lacrosse championships. In 2008, Gillette Stadium set attendance records for the Division I final (48,970) and the Division II and III finals (24,317). The championships were also played in Foxborough in 2009 and 2012, attracting fans from 47 states and six international countries to the events.
