Concerts & Ticketed Events
Since opening in 2002 Gillette Stadium has become New England’s premier destination for entertainment on the grandest scale. As a performance venue, the range of artists, speakers and large scale events held at Gillette Stadium is unmatched in the region.
Beginning in 2004, Gillette Stadium has annually played host to the New England Country Music Festival, the largest one-day country music event in the country. Country music superstars Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood have been just a handful of the dozens of country acts that have played to a sold out stadium. In June of 2010 Taylor Swift made history when she brought her sold out Fearless tour to Gillette Stadium. The event marked significant milestones for both Swift and the stadium as it was her first-ever NFL stadium concert and the first time a female artist headlined a solo concert at Gillette Stadium.
Gillette Stadium has emerged as the ideal venue for the most iconic performers to create electrifying events. From U2’s record-setting production of the 360 tour, to the dueling pianos of Elton John and Billy Joel, to Springsteen’s crowd favorite classics, to Bon Jovi’s stadium-perfect anthems, hundreds of thousands of fans have made Gillette Stadium their first choice for legendary entertainment.
More than just concerts, Gillette Stadium has also been the site for one of the most significant spiritual events to come to the area in recent history. His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama held a teaching and public talk on May 2, 2009. His talk, centering on the path to peace and happiness, offered attendees a very rare opportunity to listen to the spiritual leader live.
