KENNY CHESNEY RETURNS TO GILLETTE STADIUM IN 2009

Kraft Entertainment has taken the stress out of finding a gift for the country fan in your life by announcing today that 2008 AMC and CMA Entertainer of the Year Kenny Chesney is returning to Gillette Stadium in 2009. Tickets will go on sale Dec. 13, just in time to make a seat at next summer’s hottest concert the ideal Christmas gift.

Chesney will headline the New England Country Music Festival for the fifth year in a row, and be joined by a star-studded lineup that includes 2008’s CMA Vocal Duo of the Year Sugarland, fan favorites Montgomery Gentry, ACM and CMA Top Female Vocalist of the year nominee Miranda Lambert and the CMA New Artist of 2008 Lady Antebellum.

The New England Country Music Festival is the largest concert series in New England and has sold out Gillette Stadium in each of its five years, including 2007 when more than 50,000 tickets disappeared in 15 minutes.

“There is just something about those people. Every time we play Gillette Stadium, they come and they sing their hearts out,” said Chesney in a press release. “It may be one of the NFL’s biggest stadiums, but I’m telling you, every year those people make it feel like a little club date.”
